Travel Agent or Self Book?

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Increasing numbers of people now research and book their vacations on the internet which is having an effect on the number of people the travel agent sees. There are many websites that help people find the best deals and allow you to make all of your plans through their sites without ever needing to speak to a real person. Even though I will probably save a few dollars by using the internet, I continue to book my vacations face to face with a travel agent but I do admit to some serious searching on the internet to learn more about where I am going.

Precious Stones and Gems Sold at Craft Fairs

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

I am planning to go to the next Artisan’s Craft Show, and I think I have the necessary crafts to join. With only eight days until the event, I’m already preparing the things that I will be selling as a vendor. Among the things that I will be showing off are turquoise, aquamarine, onyx, chalcedony, smoky quartz, purple amethyst, amber, citrine, prasiolite (green amethyst), rose and clear faceted quartz, rutilated quartz… Do you want me to continue? I may even bring some ruby or emerald if I complete the design in the short time left.

If you’re taking off for any length of time away on holiday or business, it should not be a question of whether or not to buy insurance but rather who to get your insurance from. For the young traveller, becoming a backpacker is quite often the first experience of having to organise every aspect of their life and while this can be daunting, it is also very rewarding.

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Most people visit tropical islands to get a taste of activities like fishing, shelling, and sunbathing. Still, many tourists aren’t aware that there are many more activities other than just spending a perfect day on the beach all day. There’s more to a tropical island apart from the beach, and, if you are looking for something else to do, you’ll never run out of options.

Meet a Lot of Interesting Talents at Baltimore Craft Fair

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

The American Craft Council Baltimore Show was just starting to close when I overheard a passerby say, “…it’s just one thing after another! Wow, it’s just amazing!”, and I can think of no other statement that best describes the event. It was a completely great experience; to met and greet the craftspeople and see their works in person. Up until the event, I just knew them through their works, but I still felt like I knew them like old friends. I’ll give a shout out to the artists that I met.

In all probability, alloy wheels are perhaps the most sought after accessory for cars.
