Curb Food Cravings With Ease
Posted on July 30th, 2009. Filed under: General. If you are looking for a straight forward response to how to deal with food cravings – I’d have to say just stop eating too much but is this really it?. I have heard and used this line a number of times before, while watching some of my friends eat, at home, at parties. Allow me to take a few minutes of your time to share about causes of food cravings.
Let start by saying that eating a lot does not consequentially result to cravings for food or gaining some weight but it is the choice of food you eat. Cravings for food are heightened when eating some certain types of foods i.e. some type of food stimulates and increases them and taking or eating another group of foods may help stop them. This “good” food has the power to enable you to stop your cravings. For instance, if you need to stop them, consider taking b-vitamin complex (B vitamins). These are essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates into the simple sugar glucose. There is plenty if food that contains b-complex vitamins. For example, you can find them in nuts, whole-grain cereals fruits, leafy green vegetables, whole-grain cereals fruits, rice, meats, eggs, milk and fish.
Chemical imbalances in our body aggravate cravings for food and if you need to gain access to the right nutrients for your body then you should consider eating the right kind of food and in the process control chemical imbalances. This information is also relevant to premenstrual women and can be helpful if you are looking for best foods for PMS.
Now this should tell you why some weight loss programs claim to keep you eating as much as you want without gaining any more weight. What the scientists do is create some anti depressants that help produce the kind of resources, which are used to stimulate the production of certain resources in order to stay free from cracing food and also keep the body in a good state. These scientists have spent years studying the human anatomy and have come up with the best tools or resources to help your body and to keep it healthy, stop the desire to keep eatingand lose weight without cutting back on your diet.
Although I do believe in the science of the antidepressants, I am not, however, a huge fan mainly because they can have drastic side effects for some users such a nausea, irritability, etc. I believe in natural ways to curb food cravings and you can do this by understanding the body’s chemical make-up and then stay balanced by taking all the necessary foods.
I hope so far you can relate even if you are dealing with food cravings during pms
There is no reason why you should pay anything or anyone for putting your eatng habits under control. For instance, end PMS binging, I usually recommend the following, watch your emotional triggers that provoke your cravings, try to improve your mood through exercise, everytime you feel like eating something especially something sweet just drink a glass of water as this can help a lot also try to find other replacements for what you eat e.g. sugar less chocolates.
