World of Warcraft Strategy Guide
Posted on May 28th, 2009. Filed under: Technology. While there is such a thing as the Official World of Warcraft Strategy Guide as well as other popular unofficial guides where you can get a more comprehensive compendium on all aspects of the game both in its basic and advanced levels, these things are not always available to everyone. You even need to buy some of them.
This short guide will give you an idea of the basic guidelines that most strategists use in writing their guides. This isnt a guide that focuses on a particular aspect, but rather a strategy guide that teaches you how to make the most out of the game.
Pick The Class That is Right for You
Read a little bit about the different classes and races in the game and try to think on a theoretical level which ones best suit your taste. If you are a fantasy gamer, your choice of class in other games may be the same for WoW. As for race, try not to focus on the technical side such as racial abilities and just pick the race you prefer to play as.
If you don’t know what type of class you want to play, I would strongly suggest you go for parent classes such as the warrior or the mage over more complex classes such as hybrids like the druid or shaman. Playing basic characters will help you master the basics faster.
Basic Adventuring
Lots of leveling guides tell you how each class and race can level up more efficiently as well as gain the necessary gold and equipment along the way. Make sure you level up efficiently because if you level up slowly youll only get frustrated with your character and you wont be able to enjoy the character when its at its best.
Make sure to choose the right kind of profession for your character and use it wisely to maximize your gold and equipment along the way. Almost all the primary and secondary professions in WoW require gathering, which can be done alongside questing.
