To acquire raw materials jewelcrafting should be paired with mining. Rings and other jewelry can be made by jewelcrafters with metal ores to be sold. Copper rings are the first things that a jewelcrafter will make but other items quickly become available. For 8 silver you can get a jewelcrafting kit.
