When you truly believe that your service is special and actually helps people, the things you write, say or do are done with enthusiasm. People subconsciously read this in all of your sales messages and when you have enthusiasm it is contagious!
If you arent feeling enthusiastic about your service its time to do some re-evaluating. Why arent you feeling enthusiastic? What changes could you make so that you are enthusiastic?
Here are some important tips and tricks that pertain to writing your sales messages. They don’t all apply to every form of advertising you will use, but are excellent guidelines to get into the advertising mindset.
*Transfer ownership in your sales messages to make them more personal by using the words you and your. Ex. Included in your session not included in the session. Count the number of yous and yours in your sales messages. You should have at least twice as many yous and yours as Is, wes, ours or your company name.
*It is not a good idea to use ALL CAPITALS in the body of your sales messages. This can annoy people and slow them down while reading, it is better to use bold instead.
*People prefer to read shorter words and sentences.
*Use testimonials. You can write or email your past clients and ask them to rate your service. By posting these comments in your sales materials it adds to your credibility. Especially when your potential clients can relate personally to the comments in the testimonial.
*Try writing your messages as if you are talking to a friend. Keep it simple and easy to understand whenever possible. By reading your sales message aloud you can easily feel if it is natural or not.
